He loves...

Colby loves bubbles...

However, the kid doesn't like shoes. Especially when they keep coming off!

Where has the time gone???

I found this video a few nights ago, and laughed so hard. That deep throaty chuckle is so hilarious! And look at all that chub!

What are you doing???

So, sometimes kids surprise you in the most bizarre ways.

As a halfway decent parent, I'm trying to get my son to be polite. And him being a kid, he's fighting it at all times. So I sat down with him and a packet of fruit snacks. I pulled one out, and as he lunged for it I said "say please!" He squirms, grabs the snack, and devours it. I was getting frustrated after about 6 fruit snack grabs, until I realized something. The little turkey WAS saying please.... in sign language.

Where in the world did he learn sign language??!?!?!

We called our babysitter and confirmed that it was in fact her. She would just do it around her kids, and Colbs picked it up.

Here's a video of please and thank you.

He also knows 'more,' but apparently shouting out "mo!" is more effective with grandma. :)

We Bleed Red!

Today Daddy starts school up at the U! So after the Colbster spent the night with Grandparents S, I put this shirt on him. I know they wanted to throw it out, but they loved their little grandson too much to try it. And just look how HAPPY he looks!

Brave Little Boy

On Easter (yes, I still have not updated it completely. Slacker mom.) we went to see the horses in a nearby farm. My little boy was so brave, after just a few seconds of shyness he jumped right in and started feeding them! I'm even a wimp and was standing back. But he loved it and was sad when we ran out of vegetables and grass.

Big shoes

Colbs, while drinking his sippy cup this morning, decided to play in daddy's shoes.
All I can say? Those are sure some big shoes to fill.

See, Daddy's been working full time, and has taken FIVE classes this semester. He's serving in a demanding calling, all the while being an attentive husband and a loving father. He's juggling so much and he's just so wonderful. Some little boys don't have a great fatherly role model, and some do. And son, I think you have the best.

The Hunt

Gearing up for the hunt... or mommy showing off his new outfit. You decide.
The Easter Bunny made these eggs really difficult to find...

But our competitor was up to the challenge.

And loved every second of it.

What a cutie.

Easter Bunny Basket!

Who knew that one little boy could be so spoiled? I need to talk to this Easter Bunny, pronto.
That's my boy. Reaching for the book first!

A small little smile as he saw his new whacking sticks... I mean golf clubs. The kitties are now afraid of our little tiger woods.

Another problem with the Easter Bunny, he brought peeps, the sickly sweet grossness goo candy. Look at Colby's face... disgust mixed with a bit of sugar high.

And this is what he looked like coming down from his sugar high.
