Upside Down

I think if Colby could live upside down, he would. The sure-fire way to make him giggle is to hang him upside down and swing a bit. Of course, Daddy does it best!

Birthday party!

He had so much fun at his cousin's bday party. Here he is blowing (ok biting) on a kazoo.


This pretty much makes my heart melt. Colby's just sittin on papa's lap, but papa is sweetly nuzzling him, and going in for a kiss. Adorable. Grandparents are the best.

Vroom vroom!

Colby just loves 'girl' things. Not that its a bad thing, but it is something that I've noticed. He loves watching TV shows like Friends , he can dance , and the boy loves jewelry. And then, there was this one time when I was 7 months pregnant, I went to see Mamma Mia with my in-laws. He danced to the Abba music the ENTIRE time. Well now, his favorite thing to do is play with his trucks. He crawls all over with them, pushes them around, and even crashes them into one another. I must say, I'm a bit relieved.

Following the Leader...

One thing that I have to brag about Colby... he is the most patient little boy. Since he learned to crawl, my mornings are spent rushing from room to room, as he patiently follows behind me. Often times I zoom right past him, to which he sits down, turns around, and follows me once again. All with a little smile on his face.

This is Colby

In the space of a few short weeks, Colby's entire personality and life have shifted. He used to be so content in one spot, playing quietly and happily. Not so much anymore. He's constantly on the move, and can be quite crabby if crossed wrong. But its such a relief to see him mobile, and he still is about the cutest boy in the world. ( I may be biased, a tad bit.)
