Horsey

First pony ride. It doesn't show, but he really liked it. We had to drag him away kicking and screaming!

Surest Way Into His Heart...

If you turn blue's clues on, you're bound to get at least twenty solid minutes of cuddling. Grandparents are such willing people. :)

Stumbled upon...

My home was quiet, so I went to see where my toddler tornado could be. This is how I discovered him:

Reminiscing...

Colbs had so much fun this summer in Grandma and Grandpa Smith's pool. He was getting so good at kicking and splashing. So until next June, farewell!

Popsicles with Papa

I love this. Papa Smith has a never-ending supply of otter pops (pop-icles, to colbs) and will share as many as you want. Here's all the grandkids (minus a newborn) with papa, eating popsicles.

The current obsession...

Every minute (literally) the Colbster is begging for blue's clues. Its enough to drive any parent crazy Although with a crazy kitchen remodel in the works, we've had quite the blue's clues marathon running at our house!

Just like Mommy

We've already discovered that Colbs is just like daddy, but sure enough he's been paying attention to mommy too. Little boy loves a good camera, maybe a bit too much! I always discover pictures on my Nikon that I didn't take... Here he is playing with my Kodak, aka "the one mommy won't have a heart attack if we break"

At Mommy's work!

Mommy's work is 100% boy toys, with big trucks and forklifts. So of course, Colby hated it. He was scared of everything!

Of course, he thought mommy's hard hat was pretty neat.

Typical...

More pictures from June. It wouldn't be Colby's blog if mom didn't slack off a bit (or a lot.)
West fest!

Here's mom torturing Colby by forcing him to have a stranger paint his favorite character (Elmo) on his arm. Oh, the humanity!

The finished product: a cute Elmo and a grumpy little boy.

Trying to call Grandma to tattle on mom and dad.
Trying to win a goldfish. He just loved throwing the balls.

Getting ready for the fireworks. James and Colby were wrestling with their daddies. A lot of fun!
The winners. Poor Daddy. (He loved every minute of it!)
Colby attempting a somersault. Almost, kid.

Zoo trip

Awhile ago we went to the zoo with some visiting friends. Colby loved spending the entire day with his dad. That doesn't happen nearly enough. Here are some pics.

He's such a shorty.
Cuddling in front of a giraffe. His cuddles are seriously the best. We savor them every chance we get.

"Ish!"

Colby has been enjoying Nemo lately, so we got his some of his own 'ish' (fish). Sadly, these ones don't talk. Our cats, however, find them highly entertaining.

Swimmin'

This past weekend we went to Grandparents P's home, and they had bought a swimming pool for all the toddlers. Colby was just loving it, and wouldn't stop playing although the others were done.
