Colby Colors (part 2 of 3, gram's cam)

Grandma also taught Colby how to color with sidewalk chalk. Its amazing, he can write "Colby loves Grandma" all by himself! (or so I'm told, AHEM.) Here's some of my favorites, it cracks me up how 100% left-handed he is!

Grandma's Camera, my fav's (part 1 of 3)

Colby spends two days a week with his Grandma M, and she's almost as camera happy as mommy. I finally convinced her to share the wealth, and I just fell in love with the pics she has. These are a few of my top favorites.

Colby, at my baby shower. He came just a few days before my final baby shower, so it was postponed a week and was, by far, the cutest guest there.

One of the many grandma and Colbs shots. I just love the bond he has with her.

Grandma got him a drumset. I am SO glad it stays at her house. How cute is this?

Colbs and his uncle Jason. They were having a grand ol' time throwing a ball at Daddy's head.

I tell you, Colbs is a rock star. How many 1 year olds do you know who can pick a guitar?

Big grin Colby, smellin grandma's flowers...er... leaves.

Sweet little boy!

Father's Day

(this is a pic of Colbs and his daddy, papa, and papa-great. First 4 generation pic)

Father's day was great. Colbs got to visit all three of his grandfathers and smother them with hugs and kisses. He loves all his 'papas' ! But most of all, he loves his daddy. He was just attached to his daddy all day. Instead of playing with the other kids in the backyard, he just lounged in his daddy's lap with a sippy cup in hand. Their relationship is truly something special. I hope someday that Colby turns out EXACTLY like his daddy. :)

Before the haircut...

Although boys are so much easier in a million of way, I just wish they didn't have to get a haircut so often!

Oh yes she does...

Am I the only one to put my son in clothes like this for instant gratification?

They call me the toddler...

So a few days ago, I decided to make an AWESOME video, with "The Toddler Song" by Sean Morey as the background. My son is all sorts of hyper and naughty usually, so I just knew I would have tons of material. So I pulled out my trusty video cam, and started filming. Oh my gosh. My little heathen becomes an absolute ANGEL when he sees blinking red lights. He's polite, sweet, helpful, and happy.

The absolute shocker though, was this moment:

My son is actually cleaning. Without any cojoling, bribing, or time outs.

I am going to install video cameras in every room. It might be pricy, but it'll be oh so worth it!

(the playlist will be gone in a week, I promise!)
