This is at the easter egg hunt at Grandma Mitchell's.

He found an egg. Ok so mom found it and handed it to him. He was less than impressed. But he did pretty well, he got two dollars and two choking hazards. :)

My first 'ears!'

Grandma Mitchell went to Disneyland this week, and got me my first set of (mickey) ears! I did not like them too much, they were too big and kept sliding over my eyes! But mommy still got some good pictures!

A Baby boo! Ahhhh boo!

Colby has always had an obsession with mirrors. Its his favorite thing. He's also loved playing airplane for months. Mix them together with his favorite playmate (daddy) and this is the video I took. :)

New blog, new post!

I have redesigned the blog from one of the boring templates... ya like? It took me all day to figure out how to do it! I know its kinda plain, I hope to add more onto it soon!

And here's a picture of Colbs and I from last week. We went to a mommy playdate, so they snagged a pic of us! It was quite funny, every time one of them would pass me on their way to the buffet, they'd say, "awww, he's such an adorable chunk." He was by the far the chubbiest baby there!

Happy 5 months, baby boy!

I swear these past five months have been the quickest of my entire life! Will they always be like this? He grows so quickly, and I fall in love more and more. He's such a big boy now. He grabs and chews and plays. He's the most handsome guy I've ever seen. He's so happy and smiley, but at the same time, he really just prefers to cuddle with his mama. This little boy holds my heart. Happy five months darling! You are amazing!

My Favorite Random Pictures!

These are a bunch of random pictures that I wanted to put on here, but it wasn't big enough of a deal to warrant an entire post. Some are actually quite old, when he was cute chubby, instead of total chunk. So I've waited til I've snagged a bunch of these, and here they are! My absolute favorite random pictures! Uncut, uncensored! (Mostly because I don't have the time to photoshop them...)

This one is the first time he ever held onto a toy. I rocked him to sleep with a bottle, hence the white mouth formula-induced coma. But he laid there, just stroking the soft blankie.

This one makes my heart melt. There's the same lovey. I know you can't see his face, but he's in such a deep, peaceful slumber. You can even see the hint of fingers he's got delicately jammed into his mouth. And those arms, those legs, that wrinkly neck, so delicious!
Same photo op as a few posts ago, but this moment here, its... monumental. They finally recognized each other's existence. Of course, they're definitely not in love with each other yet. The cat's still pissed that the Colbster came along. But at least they're on the same couch cushion. Baby steps.
This one cracks me up. We're working on the Colbs sitting up. Obviously its not going so well. But I love the leaning forward, puppy-dog feetie pj's, and the serene expression on his face.

Ooh and this one. This one's very recent. I noticed it was rather quiet as I was posting. I peeked into the nursery where daddy was rocking the colbs to sleep. It looks the daddy rocked daddy to sleep too. So precious. Thanks for supporting my internet addiction honey. :)

Hat Head

I took these pictures, trying to do an audrey woolard-esque hat baby. Heh, for the fifty cent hat, I think its pretty darn cute. The last pic is my fav of this. Mostly because the other ones just looked silly. Winter hat, plus naked baby, something just seemed off.

Lately he's been growing like crazy. He's so serious, he doesn't like smiling very often anymore. He loves rough housing though. He still loves airplane, but its even better if you do it in a mirror so he can see himself. He's holding his bottle by himself, and is sleeping 9 hours in a row at night! He's so wiggly and its so wonderful.
